Free Cleaning Schedule Template (UK) — PDF & Excel

The cleaning plan and the signed proof it happened — the two-part record EHOs look for, ready to print.

Free Cleaning Schedule Template (UK) — PDF & Excel

An EHO wants to see two things on cleaning: a schedule (what gets cleaned, how, with what, how often) and a signed record that it actually happened. This template gives you both.

Free for use within your organisation. No sign-up required — if it saves you time, a link back to this page is always appreciated.

What's in the template

  • Cleaning schedule — area/item, frequency, method, chemical & dilution, contact time, responsibility
  • Daily record sheet — initialled by the person who cleaned, countersigned by a supervisor

How to use it

Fill the schedule once (laminate it), then print the record sheets in batches. The detail that impresses inspectors is contact time — sanitisers need minutes on the surface to work, and recording it shows you know that. Match the chemicals column to your COSHH register.
